Just heard Lillie Mae for the first time over the weekend at The Grove in Glasgow, Ky. Regretting that it took me so long to be clued in....they opened with this song and it's been stuck in my mind ever since. I love the combination of hot tempo and melancholy, wistful lyrics....can't wait to see/hear them again soon!

Oh boy, goosebumps and tingles, smiling even while there's a lump in my throat...this is the power of great music. Just wonderful.

My girlfriend and I took a road trip to Nashville recently, down Skyline Drive and a few camping spots in between, up to Mammoth Caves and back into town. We heard the album first while visiting Third Man, perhaps even the day it was released or the day after. This song/album is gonna stick with me as the soundtrack, I suspect, and I'm pretty damn happy about it.

Great fiddle playing but I'm not on board with her vocals, was hard to get through. Sorry Lillie Mae, still adore you.
