It was great to see them close up, Brett! I guess it might be a few years until both of mine reach flowering size. They do look stunning just with the new growth emerging though. I probably need to look at repotting mine soon.

This one first flowered for me at 2 years old ( from purchase at Jurassic plants ) at a height of around 18 inches. It helps to pot them on as the ones I’ve grown myself from seed in very small pots haven’t grown much lol. I need to re-pot them for sure to get flowers 😁

Thanks for the this video Brett. Your lilly Pilly is about 1 year older than mine, and coming to the peak age for regular flowering. It is a beautiful plant that reminds me so much of the Rose apple family in miniature form. The fruits could be sweeter, but of course the weather is against us.

This one is now on its 3rd year of flowering for me Mike. I only made the video as I had in mind the picture you showed me of the shoot on your plant that looked like a flowering stem to me. Hopefully that is indeed proving to be the case

@@lyonheart84 Hoping so Brett. I have two younger seedlings, one of which I am planning to overwinter under a citrus tent this winter. I was also wondering what you use to feed the Lilly Pilly.

@myexoticfoodplants6727 I don’t feed my Lilly Pilly at all Mike but I’m sure it wouldn’t hurt to feed it, I’m just lazy due to lack of time 😂
