your videos are really helpful, but it would be really helpful if you could mention WJEC when you say which exam board specifications the videos are relevant to.

Hi Catrin, but i nearly always mention Eduqas, especially in my more recent videos/livestreams, which is simply the English version of WJEC. Wherever I say Eduqas you can know that that means WJEC too. Does that help? 😊

Hi Patrice - its done and its on my website www.biologycarol.co.uk along with my FULL complement of videos which you can subscribe to for a year, for a ridiculously small amount of money (£50 for both year's work, £25 for AS only) AND an opportunity to earn 10% commission from friends purchases AND a freebie! This is me truly trying to make A level biology accessible to all, regardless of family income. Worth having a look at least..

for temperature, ATP synthase is involved in LDR and is an enzyme so if temp. affects rubisco enzyme in LIR doesnt it affect ATP synthase in LDR?
@biologycarol

Brilliantly spotted - your logic is perfect! The LIR is just FAR MORE affected by temp because every part of the Calvin cycle is enzyme catalysed. Cutting straight to the chase - you get marks for recognising that the LIR is affected by temp while the LDR isn't. This reflects the A level standard of detail required. If you go on to study this at Uni you will learn a whole new level of detail explaining this, but you don't need to know it yet. hope that helps.
