Let’s begin this Lincoln Financial Field review with some positives. As a structure, the stadium looks pretty good. There are no complaints about the design from an aesthetics standpoint. However, there is much more to a stadium than concrete, bricks, steel and various other materials. This is where Lincoln Financial Field fails.
This is where Lincoln Financial Field fails. Annoying fans, a terrible location, nightmarish traffic, and some poor layout choices ruin what could be a perfectly acceptable NFL experience. Lincoln Financial Field is not good and I’m going to tell you why.
Ultimately, it is hard to justify going to Lincoln Financial Field for a Philadelphia Eagles game as a neutral fan unless you’re really into traffic or people not willing to abide by socially acceptable public behavior. And I don’t know why anyone would be into either of those things.
Your best bet is to head down the I-95 to Baltimore or up the I-95 to the Meadowlands because both MT&T Bank Stadium and MetLife Stadium are far better places to watch an NFL game. In the case of the latter, just hope the Jets are playing.
