Back in the old days where a tiny bit of casual racism was fine and the people at the butt of the joke would laugh along too. Now of course the people at the butt still laugh, but a bunch of whiny crybabies, usually middle class white kids, complain on their behalf and speak for them, and for some insane reason the big companies play along rather than laughing at them.

'Linguo IS dead', is such a fantastic line at the end. He not only corrects Homer grammatically, but to the viewer shows a self awareness which makes it funny. But all the more funny is how he says it in the third person, like all those robots in fiction before. And still, he maintains his pretension and pedantry just by emphasising the 'is'. Great, just great. Clever and stupid, that's the Simpsons.
