We took a walk from Burnsall to Linton Falls in Wharfedale recently. This is a brief record of some of the things we saw along the way, and an extract of the watercolour painting I did of part of the falls.
The painting was produced without any pre-planning in pencil; a loose, spontaneous approach that I like to indulge in once in a while - and one that means the finished painting is as much a surprise to me as any one else.
