This is amazing! Mind = blown. How does this NOT have more views?! This is executed so wonderfully, I have to say that this is one of my favorite interpretations (alongside with Hilary Hahn's and Midori's).

Amazing, totally mind blowing... the technique perfection of midori + Vengerov power and intensity, and an amazing interpretation from Linus Roth. This is by far the best interpretation of Heinrich Wilhem Ernst's "The Last Rose from the Summer"

Friedrich Hebbel

Bravo!!!! I don't know if Ernst played this better than you do but I seriously, seriously doubt it. Isn't he the fiddler that also wrote that arrangement of that Schubert song whose name I can't remember? Devilishly difficult stuff.

why would a "thinking" human being play this clap trap nonsense... maybe we can attach a broom to the fiddler so he can sweep the floor at the same time and serve some useful purpose.

have you heard Hilary Hahn play this?

no ....and who in their right mind would care? It is circus clap trap no matter who performs this nonsense. For most the violin is still treated as circus stunt following elephants.

Hi, this comment section is mostly English! Please use google translate so that is English readers can read it. Thank you! I highly recommend grammarly in all seriousness, this is more unreadable than Russian.

What a shallow comment. Are we to enjoy only caviar or T bone steak and never savor a simple hot dog? Are we only to enjoy Bach and Brahms and Beethoven? No, my palate delights in Stravinsky, Poulenc, Shostakovitch, Bizet, Ravel, Satie, Grieg, Bernstein, Wieniawski, Sarasate, Ernst, Paganini, Barber, Copland, Gershwin, Strauss, Bartok, Prokofiev, Bazzini, Tartini, Vivaldi, Verdi, Tchaikovsky, Gliere, Borodin, Honneger, Elgar, Dvorak, Vieuxtemps, and a hundred others.
