I recently committed to moving from M$ to Linux and feel I have hit the jackpot when I found your channel! I am that Senior that has been using ‘tech’ since the inception of transistors. I retired a year ago and this is what keeps my brain exercised. I truly appreciate your content and need to commend you on your presentation style. It resonates with me and I am learning loads. Thank you!! Darrell 🇨🇦

Thanks for the tips on Popsicle! I didn't know it could flash multiple targets simultaneously. I thought it was just single imaging. Great tool.

Very useful. Tool will certainly come in handy. But is really being used to install the "plain vanilla" ISO image to the USB stick(s). I find that I then must configure the distribution on the recipient's computer after installing it. Is there a way I could generate a pre-configured ISO with all the things I like to introduce (background, icon sets, themes, layouts, etc.) and then create an ISO from that and then burn the USB sticks so they contain the pre-configured distribution? This would allow the configuration to be done once, instead of every time I install one on a donated laptop.

Hello, sound's like maybe you want a custom ISO or maybe OEM...You maybe want to try looking into CUBIC ( Custom Ubuntu ISO Creator) to start . There are other tools out there. Also some will place custom files also in the /etc/skel folder , there are also hidden files in there is some cases. Best Regards, t
