Hi The Rose Jewl Railroad. The 2046 is one of my favorite post war steam locomotives. They look good and they're just great runners. I will say, a tripod does come in handy at times especially when you need to use your hands for something else. I generally like to buy trains with boxes, but like you do not keep them in their boxes. I too like to run my trains both modern and post war. Just today, Mary brought home a copy of the Menards Fall 2022 "O Scale Train Stuff" catalog. Bill B.

Thanks Bill. I have a couple tripods around here. I tend to move around the layout on my videos. But my daughter has a very small tripod that would still give me freedom to move around. I’m honored you watch my channel.

Those box cars are some of my favorite box cars. I’ve probably added about five more of those box cars since this video. I need to do another video featuring them. Yes, I’ve noticed from watching KZitem videos. A lot of us model railroader’s are cut from the same cloth. A lot of us are history buffs. My father severed in the army during World War 2. My Mother was in High School during the war. My mother said after Pearl Harbor got bombed. Her dad broke down and bought his own radio so he wouldn’t have to ask the neighbors for the current news. Fascinating to think how much smaller the world was in those days. Thanks for watching and commenting.

@therosejewelrailroad489 Many of my family members have served in the military. My father and some of his brothers served in the Pacific. My mom helped the war effort from home. It was a different time then, than it is now. ☮️ 🇺🇸

Hey Ken, I subscribed a few months back and I have to say some your banter is more interesting than the trains although I do like your "nose art" collection. I got some of the Menards military flat cars for a Veterans Day video I made last year. I will try putting a link in a follow-up comment, although they don't always post.

Thanks. I like to tell everybody the connection I have with each locomotive on my layout. I am going to checkout more of videos soon.

Hi, two things;1, why is that car sitting underneath the tunnel portal with nowhere to go? 2, why no have the center track train go in the opposite direction! Just a thought. 😊

I think you’re referring to the black hopper car sticking outside what used to be an upper loop. The car is a static display of an exempt train line. Possibly something that might have been used for mining the tunnel. I have a hobo seen there now. I never liked the upper loop so I did away with it. Of course tried to make it look like a has been. As for the middle loop moving the opposite way. I do that sometimes when I don’t have all the trains lined up at the start of the video. It also flows better one way. There is spots where the right two trains at the wrong place can collide. Thanks for watching and commenting.
