SwaggingSheep they munch on the living coral and the native fish species that depend on the reef for life. Lion fish have no predator threats as an invasive species... Left unchecked, their population would explode, and they would destroy coral reef habitats.

Were heading to the keys to help eliminate a few hundred of them next week. They are awesome smoked whole using pecan and mesquite wood topped with almond amoretto

What location is this at, is it in the keys? , and was the shark after your fish? How would you make that shark go away? I'm beginning to get into diving out in the keys.

Hi Jason. Like your video. I have encountered nursesharks while hunting lionfish. But they were to sleepy to bother us. Did the shark go away and leave you in peace or was it trying to bite you? Where did you shoot the video?

I hope that really big fish at 2:15 wasn't stung (on the inside) by the lionfish when it ate that one.
