This episode originally aired on CBS three nights after my 9th birthday; which was October 5, 1966. This was one of my favorite episodes.

Loved this show, along with, Beverly Hillbillies and Petticoat Junction. Interestingly, this episode, is similar to the, theme, of the, 'Egg And I', with, Fred MacMurray and Claudette Colbert (1947). Betty, (Colbert) leaves Bob ( MacMurry) because he spent too much time, with the, sexy, woman, farmer, next door. Betty can't adjust to farm life, just as Lisa, can't. Bob, is a city boy, drawn to the, country, just like, Oliver. The movie also, introduced us to, Ma and Pa Kettle (Marjorie Main and Percy Kilbride) , who are a lot like the people of, Hooterville. So, if you love this, then you are, or will be a fan of, 'The Egg and I'

Interesting comparison you bring up. There's probably a connection there, from film to TV.

I remember this was Zas Zas not Eva! I was a huge fan of the re runs! I watched it on Nick at night that’s how I knew who she was! Her name would be huge on the screen as you saw the actors that stared in the show! How is this even possible! This was not Eva!

@@maunster3414 listen I can careless what you say I know what I know to be a fact! I only knew of ZaZa Gabor from that show I’m too young to know anything else until recently looking her up due to this! I remember seeing her name and think wow how different it is and how gorgeous she was with the accent to match! I fell in love with the show! I will never forget that! You can say the Mandela Effect isn’t real but there’s Scientific proof to back it!

Zsa zsa barely did movies or shows. This was always eva. Zsa zsa was more of a socialite and Eva an actress. Eva started acting in 1941, I think you just are remembering wrong.

Eva was on Green Acres; and not Zsa Zsa.

@@autumngraceguitar6604: That's what I was going to say. Although Zsa Zsa, just like Eva, appeared in the movies, on television, and in the theater, Zsa Zsa will always be remembered as TV personality. And Eva will always be remembered as an actress.
