This is painfully beautiful, Lisa. Immeasurable thanks.

Some gorgeous playing here, of such a fabulous piece. Miles more beautiful than I could play it today, but if I'm nit picking, I might say that some of the portamentos seem a bit more convenient rather than expressive - if one imagines the final scene being sung by a great Strauss soprano like Renée Fleming or Elizabeth Schwarzkopf it might help clean this aspect up. The use of portato is a nice old school touch, but again I feel it is slightly overused here - if it is used in every phrase, it loses its piquancy!

Nice playing, but why is the camera always so terrible? We don’t want to see the back of the head, or a picture of the score, or the bow oscillating back-and-forth we want to see the soloist playing. We want to see the left hand. It is a universal problem that Cameron have no idea where the visual interest lies.
