Спс! Your pronunciation of consonant was correct the first way you said it-- with the stress on the first syllable.

Your questions: (1. close and clothes are pronounced the same. 2. to get angry at someone). Your English is so much better than my Russian. Very nicely done ! If you have a question on pronunciation I am on Facebook. Thanks for the video. Brian Woodworth, Kingston, New Hampshire U.S.A.

@@russianteacherveronika2305 That sounds like a great idea. I was in Moscow for a week many years ago. My brother, his wife and eight adopted children lived at the American Embassy for almost four years. That had a great experience.

Perfective: The action is done fully to completion and has stopped. The action is perfected. Imperfect: The action is not yet fully completed and is ongoing. This use of "perfect" has nothing to do with the ideas of "epitome, the best, penultimate, highest, greatest, -est" which is normally the case of the word perfect. This word has that idea in english because all things which are at their best state have been worked to completion, there's nothing more which could be done to improve it, it is perfect.

Yes true! In Old Russian we had another tenses system (in Past tense it was more close to what you have in English now)

reflexive is just the idea of doing the action to one's self. We can say "I washed myself." That's reflexive. We can also say "I washed my hands". In russian it's always withthe 'sya suffix. Some languages use reflexive to form passive. "The house was painted by me." Dom krasilsya po mne though my Russians grammar SUCKS so ask the native speaker! How to say things using the reflexive to make a passive form in Russian?

We can say Я мою руки but я моюсь. Many reflexive verbs have a transitive form if there is an object in a sentence! 😀

When in doubt in Russian: USE THE REFLEXIVE When in doubt in Enlighs: don't use the reflexive When the word is reflexive in English: it is certainly reflexive in Russian! When the word is NOT reflexive in Russian - it is certainly not reflexive in English!
