Buy Now on iTunes: smarturl.it/Tzv... Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2 by Franz Liszt is divided into 4 main sections: Lasan 00:36 Friska 5:13 Cadenza 9:21 Finale 10:48
I have been playing this rhapsody for many years as part of my repertoire. It is demanding. With Liszt, you must look past the massive amount of notes, and reach the simple beauty of the music.

I swear you are a most phenomenal player. I wish you would tour (again?) and come through St. Louis, MO. Or if you ever play in Chicago I will make the trip north to come hear you. I bought some of your CD's and share your KZitem videos with other pianists I know. And your recordings are done so well in whatever studio you use with that Bosendorfer you love. Thumps up!

This is one of the best interpretations I've seen of this, matching Maksim Mrvica's (which I personally also think has one of the greatest interpretations of this piece).

I'm not a pianist. I'm not a musician. I cannot make any comment from a technical viewpoint. I've listened to many performances of this piece from Horrowitz to Gyorgy. There is something about this performance which makes it my overall favourite but find it difficult to explain why so please excuse my attempt to do so. I hear a beautiful flow where"Subordinate notes"can still be heard and have equal billing. Perhaps it's the quality of the playback on KZitem, I don't know. I know only that having listened to many other performances from Mr. Erez I consider him to be a true genius. Like so many people who possess a wonderful gift, it's sometimes accompanied by a negative, self destructive aspect of character., If we are to believe what we read about him. I sincerely hope that, if not already doing so, Mr. Erez will soon again be thrilling audiences around the world.

There's a certain quality missing from most modern day pianists, but whatever that may be, Mr. Erez, you most certainly have it.

I think Liszt isn't jealous of this. Adam Gyorgy perfomance's far away the best. But you, Jude, you're jealous, cause it's made by a hungarian.
