@@galaxy.9162 Nah theres a specific way of dealing with octaves that can actually be learned quite quickly. You aren't supposed to play them straight down, but you need to rotate towards the thumb while playing down. This will enable you to play with speed and effortlessness.

@@samueltaylor9935I know how to play octaves i’ve played liszts mazeppa and I’m telling you, if you think a player of 3 years can play this section of Liszts sonata in b minor you’ve been watching too many professional recordings, the average player only starts playing pieces like pathetique after 3 years

@galaxy.9162 I’m confident I could teach someone how to play octaves pretty quickly. The rest of the piece requires 10+ years of experience. But these octaves are really not that bad

@@sandeegrey5977 Point out where I stated that it's the only Liszt piece I've listened to. That's a straw man, you deliberately misrepresented what I said. I have listened to plenty of Liszt and your claim that "not all of it is rubbish junk"....well a lot of it is at least rubbish. Are you a child? All I said was that this piece is rubbish and that Listz can't write melodies (jokingly) -but compared to Chopin is trash.
