Future generations of Mobilians have to be invested if Mobile is ever going to become a Litter-Free community. To help engage local students, the City of Mobile and our partners at Osprey Initiative have officially launched a new Litter Literacy Program for middle school students in public, private and parochial schools across Mobile. The program aims to teach young Mobilians how litter impacts our community and waterways and how their everyday choices can make a difference.
The program that Osprey Initiative has put together uses interactive digital features and hands-on activities to engage students in a curriculum rooted in the first-hand knowledge of their incredible staff. If you want the Litter Literacy Program to come to your child's school, ask their teacher to email ospreyeducation@osprey.world or cassie.eldredge@osprey.world.
