Just bought one of these OG ladders from a guy on marketplace today. He gave me accessories and all. Really nice ladder! Now i'm watching videos to learn about it. Unfortunately it's probably only going to used a few times a year as I'm just a DIYer not a handyman or anything. I got to put a new roof on my shop and paint the exterior of the shop and house and a few other things. This ladder is just what i needed without trying to borrow one all the time.

This model is the best one as it is the most rugged 1A 300lb rated, it was actually made by Wing Industries, and it was made in the US. Little giant was sold to an investment company a couple years ago and now the ladders are mostly made in China. Both of mine are the OG made in the US classic M17 and M26, I am looking for a Skyscrapper M21 right now to safely trim some taller trees in my yard.

Thank you for such a detailed demonstration. I purchased my Little Giant Ladder after being hit by tornadoes in December 2021. Today was the first time using it, and your instructions helped tremendously even though I have a different model. #MerryChristmas 🎄🎄🎄✝️✝️✝️🎅🎅🎅

Great presentation . Have owned and used 3 of your ladders for years but have never seen the step. Fallen off a regular step ladder twice and will never buy a regular step ladder again. Thank You

I got one of these type a1s but without the wheels. I will say they are heavy but for that reason it has done every job I needed it to and it was safe as houses. The accessory I did not know fitted it to the ladder also I never knew that it came apart for use as tressels I personally recommend these.i done a staircase last week and I felt 100 percent safe with the accessory stand, and made the job so much easier.

Okay, did everybody see how light he handled this ladder ? Especially when he unfolded it with one hand to vertical. I have a Type 1-A 26. This bad boy weighs all most 60 pounds. So he is either Superman selling ladders or just one bad ass sales rep. Now make no mistake, The Little Giant ladder is or has to be one of the best products ever made. I dose everything and then some. I get creative with it. BUT MOST IMPORTANT, it's sturdy and safe. It doesn't shake or wobble at all, it stays firm.

thanks so much. I am small, light weight women that loves doing things around the house and do not want to wait for my husband to set up the ladder for me. 60 pounds is too heavy for my older ripe age.

Yea, we have one at work, I do not know what generation but holy shit I am a big boy and you do not toss that around. With that said they did the same thing with the Total Gym. Mom bought me one for Christmas, I had seen Christy Brinkly moving it around using one hand with ease. I went to grab that out of the back of her truck and about gave myself a Hernia. At the time I was lateral pressing 350lb. They use "Demo" models to sell which are not representative of the real thing, that is bait and switch and Illegal IMO. Oh yea, like with the Little Giant I love the Total gym however :P

I highly recommend the Little Giant Leveler, as it has adjustable feet so that you can extend one or both sides on uneven ground. It's perfect for a turn in the stairs where one leg needs to go on the a different step, and for outside on uneven terrain. I also must say the guy in the video handles the ladder like an absolute boss,.

I have an older Little Giant Epic with the Leg Levelers built into the main legs rather than into outriggers. It is almost perfect because I can use the levelers in a narrow space where the outriggers would not fit. Has this feature been discontinued? If so, can I use a product such as LeveLok LL-STB-1AL and permanently attach it to your ladder legs? thanks.

Bro you must be really strong because you made handling that ladder like playing with feathers. Mine is quite heavy and I struggle with the balance when doing the full extension.

I have an original Model 10103 (from around 2003-ish). It's great, but it is really heavy -- hard to move, but much more stable than a regular ladder. Also, mine did not have wheels like the one in the video -- I never knew they were an option! The ladder in the video seems to be lighter -- did they change the weight?

What if someone accidentally bumps a lock pin? Will the ladder leg slide down while you're standing on it?

I wouldn't worry about that you have to actually pull the pin out I think you'll be safe enough😊

The ladder's handy but no piece of cake fully extending and taking down. Still a must to have around if you're fairly strong.

This must be a prototype ladder made of aluminum. I have the exact same ladder and its a total bear to maneuver. Very sturdy ladder but holy God it's a joke on how heavy it is. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Oh...I had a roofer come out one time and he had one of these. He was a short guy and he had to extend this ladder to it's max. I asked him if he wanted help...he said "no, I got it." Well when he brought the extended ladder up to my roof, it got away from him and the ladder slammed into a tile breaking it. Make these ladders much lighter and stop trying to fool everyone into thinking anyone can use it like your tossing a box of kleenex around. They can be very dangerous.
