Regarding the summer kitchen table, would it help the view by hanging a mirror to see a reflection of the sky and mountains behind those seating facing the interior wall?

Someone else has mentioned it before, look into Kintsugi , or Kintsukuroi. It a Japanese way of repairing porcelain and highlighting the repair with gold. It looks really beautiful. It could look nice on your broken marble top and if you hate it your going to replace it anyway 😊

Don't know if you can create a gold metallic grout, but I think Japanese Kintsugi, where they fix cracked items with gold, would look amazing on that marble sink top.

Great getting little jobs done Alla. With your table, even though you, also me, love the swing chair, I think if you can reposition it, it will look & work better for your table. I can see there's not much room undercover but hopefully you can do it. The wood for your switch needs to be changed I think. Hopefully theres a stronger piece on the plank? And doesn't it need to be cut out for the wires? Anyway I'm sure you'll work it all out. Are you putting in a shower door? Sergie you are a quiet achiever & you seem to be able to tackle all those tricky places to cut stone, put wires in etc. You 2 are a great team. Cherie is so cute, very happy in your beautiful garden. Thankyou for daily vlogs, you're very impressive with everything you do & love your passion & enthusiasm.🌻🍷🐕🦺🥀🌷🌳🪻🪴🍐🍅🥒🧡❣️

I actually like the broken piece of marble...has character and you may find it does not really matter that much in the scheme of things...after all the house is quite old and it fits in. I think you have enough on your plate without worrying about it...bathroom looks fab though. So does the summer kitchen. Will you move in when the other kitchen get in and the bedroom finished? All you really need is the bedroom and bathroom to move in right since you have the summer kitchen??? Anyway, miss you blog when you don't post but I realize you do have a life also!😂

Carol from chateau de la ferte has a way of hiding the cracks in marble. She recently fixed a marble fireplace with massive cracks that had been filled poorly previously. She tinted some plaster type fill for first coat then came back again on top with a tinted colour to disguise the crack. It might help you here with your marble.

Ciao Alla and Sergi, every time I watch a new video, the excitement builds for the finished bathroom, it looks so beautiful, I can't wait. It's hard to get a perfect view in the summer kitchen, just because of how it's positioned in the house, but it's perfect anyway. The garden as always looks amazing. I think Cherie will be fine, dogs eat all kinds of poo all the time. Love from N.Y.

These people are working 7 days a week with no day off and posting pretty much 7 days a week. The work that needs to be done, the filming, the editing, and even trying to read and answer some of the comments, is somehow being done even though they work long hours 7 days a week, it's a wonder they are continuing to post daily, especially in the brutal heat of summer with no air conditioning.

@@retta2085 You can’t be serious. Maybe you don’t understand how much work is involved in filming a vlog. Do you watch this one regularly? For free? Right. Free. Does anybody bug you for donations? I didn’t think so. There’s plenty of grifting in certain parts of the chateauverse, when requests for donations never stop and the use off the money is never accounted for. But that’s certainly not what is happening here.

Alla I don't think that wood will work behind the switch. It will need a hole through the middle for wires to come through and then holes drilled to screw switch in place. You need something much more solid
@jdee2482

I think they may be on a tight schedule to get electrics, plumbing, heating, and Wifi done to move in, so the camera may be secondary. She has to respect the privacy of contractors too, so probably why that’s not being filmed. I’m just amazed that she is able to post each day. They must be exhausted.
@lindascott2008

@@jdee2482 Sergei seems quite worn out, thus I think his quiet frustration at times, I'm under the impression he works a full time job during the week which is why he isn't there helping Alla on weekdays. So, it seems they rarely ever take one day of rest to swim or picnic, which I personally think they should.
