if little richard can love elvis why can't other black performers? So many say Elvis stole their music. no, he was inspired by it and loved it so much it was in his blood. Period.

He literally stole the songs, not just the sound. It wasn't just Elvis, back in the day they wouldn't play Black artist on White Radio so white artist would just makes covers to the songs. And Example is Elvis Jail House Rock which is a cover of a Black women's song.

@@83jdc1 It wasn’t like Elvis was running around stealing songs back then it’s just how the industry was. Another example is the song hound dog. 2 scrawny white guys wrote it. Brought it to Big Mama Thorton. Then turned around and brought it to Elvis(to make more money of course). But you can still spot big differences between Big Mamas and Elvis hound dog. It wasn’t an exact copy and paste. But those kinds of things happened a lot. It wasn’t all Elvis

@@83jdc1 stop talking crap, Elvis dint steal nothing he was born into it and Jailhouse rock isnt a a cover it was wtitten for Elvis by Jerry_Leiber_and_Mike_Stoller and Elvis was the best thing that ever happened to Black Music because blending Country and Rb and Gospel Elvis created his own brand of Rock and Roll and in doing so introduced the White Audience the largest audience to Black Music. No one had the balls to do that before him and yet all you Gen Z who seem to educate yourselves on Twitter can do is talk nutter rubbish. Educate yourself before you speak and also just because a Black artist was the first to record a song which Elvis covered doesnt make it her song does it, she didnt write it did she, Music belongs to everyone not just based on colour anyone who thinks otherwise is a racist.

its because they are mostly probably dumb and educated via twitter which explains their low intelligence anyone with a reasonable amount of IQ would first educate themselves on the subject before commentating,, also jealousy and envy plays a big part as well.

Of course Little Richard respects Elvis, he's thankful because Elvis & Bill Haley paved the way & opened the big door to sell black music to the masses. Allowing & making it easier for Little Richard & Chuck Berry & Fats Domino to break thru. It was the only way to sell rock n roll to the masses in the 1950's.

Little Richard was innovative and creative, whilst being a demon piano player with an amazing vocal range. Presley was good-looking and had a certain interpretation of things, that played out well in different musical forms. Comparisons are pointless. The two were entirely different.

Comparisons are for kids and pointless!! At The end of the day they were both essential for rock n roll music.
