It is a small tug for such a long tow! It must have taken all of slack to transit, while the other boats waited. Thanks for posting. It's really amazing to watch

Nice work. Espescially considering it was only one boat on a low tide ebb. That rock is covered at a high tide, making things much less tight to get through

Yes he has to go with the tide. You would go backwards if you were against the tide.

The reason you always listen and broadcast a "Securite" on VHF 16 when transiting a narrows. You wouldnt want to be meeting something like this in the narrows
