My daughter did 8th grade Christopherus too, she really liked "When my Name was Keoko." She did 3 English curriculums that year and chose a variety of books from each curriculum but skipped a few that were recommended. Edit to add: She also liked The Last Mapmaker and Prairie Lotus, great picks. :)

Thank you for sharing! I really really like the concept of the teacher guide and the student notebook working together! I’ve also been looking for stronger support in developing writing skills so I’m hoping it will help with that too. What other curriculums did you pull from? I love doing that 😂

@@ddchomeschool I also like both the teacher and student guide for Christopherus too. It was a very easy and manageable program. I included TGATB LA level 7 and Easy Peasy LA level 7 and parts of Easy Peasy Reading level 7 (the poetry and Call of the Wild). It sounds like a lot, but it really wasn't. Anyway, thank you for your videos! :)

It’s a Waldorf homeschool curriculum company. Here is the particular one we’re using that the books are for: www.christopherushomeschool.com/our-store/middle-grades/eighth-grade/eighth-grade-language-arts/
