Dealing With Difficult People
How to handle difficult people in trying circumstances.
Does your workplace look like this?
-People come to work.
-They do their job (and do it well).
-They have a good time.
-They go home.
Is that your workplace? Congratulations!
I say that because the above scenario is not typical of many workplaces. Indeed, some managers regularly experience ‘people problems’.
It’s real, and when it happens, it creates stress and anxiety for managers and team members.
Not everyone is well-behaved. Some people are rude, lazy, and sarcastic. Others are underminers and love to put people down.
The list goes on. In fact, I’ve compiled a list of 52 difficult people types. It’s quite an eye-opener. To simplify it, I’ve divided them into seven groups.
But it’s not enough to know the different types. You also want practical tips on how to deal with problem people.
And that’s what I’ll share in my next LinkedIn Event:
Mark.
P.S. These methods work just as well away from work - in the home and in your community organisations
