*Good Vibrations* 🎼🎶📈 0:00 You Don’t Know What Love Is (Gene de Paul; lyr. Don Raye) 05:13 Introduction of the Band 06:33 Nobody Else But Me (Jerome Kern; lyr. O. Hammerstein) 16:24 Hidden Pockets (comp. Peter Bernstein) 28:39 Reflections (Thelonius Monk) 34:27 Unit 7 (Sam Jones) 44:33 Delilah (Victor Young) 56:20 Will You Still Be Mine (Matt Dennis; lyr. Peter Bernstein) *Peter Bernstein exudes a vibe that makes you want to be a part of his world.* He plays his Zeidler archtop with a near-sacred handling that reminds us why he’s in another stratosphere. *His tone is exquisite, yet always within reach - inviting our jazz family to pull up a chair & imbibe that legendary sound.* Pete, you’re the man. The set list was gold & the trio was on fire. *Emmet, Russell & Kyle: your musicianship was off the charts & our gratitude grows exponentially* …we love & thank you for all you achieve each week 🙌🏽🔥🌎

I can see Monk walking in blissful circles listening to these guys playing his tune. I think Peter used his left pinky about 3 times during this gig. He phrases so wonderfully. What an inspiration. Especially since I got a sliver in my left pinky yesterday and it still hurts. I'm going to rest it and try to phrase like Peter. I'm sure it's that simple🤔😏.

Man this is killing! I love how PB reminds me as a developing jazz player that I don't have to play all 16th notes all the time, and it's fine (and actually harder) to take melodic phrases and develop them as much as you can. Also, that guitar tone is just unreal. Band also killing it as usual!

Even the reverb noise @ 24.14 was perfectly in rhythm...lol...superb performance....Emmet's playing has improved leaps since doing the Emmet's Place gigs...just goes to show how Jazz (the most important creation ever) is communicated (via osmosis) from the great musicians this exciting Trio has invited as guests....keep it up....we love it!!!
