What a beautiful tribute to your son…I can not imagine your pain. You did everything you could for all the hostages. You brought the message to the world. I am Canadian and not Jewish but having been hoping against hope for their safe return. Life isn’t fair..all that he survived and then this inhumanity. I imagine that he was an amazing young man…he has an amazing mother. Love to you and your family.

@@mohamedghaben8682 what a disgusting comment. He was a young man who was murdered by Hamas. He tried to save people in a shelter and lost his arm. Despite that he survived and was to return home when the next hostages were released. His parents worked tirelessly for the release of hostages. The world grieves with them.

Because his parents are American, well spoken, highly connected, liberal and moderate, and had the ability to effectively communicate with the media and act as representatives for the entire hostages issue. Your question is stupid, because all this is pretty obvious.
