It was a huge honour to welcome long-time friend and Boyne Valley archaeologist Geraldine Stout to the conversation series. Geraldine has a wealth of knowledge about many diverse aspects of Ireland's past. She cut her teeth as an archaeologist under the watchful eye of Prof. George Eogan at Knowth, and has been involved in excavations at sites in the Boyne Valley region for over three decades. We spoke about many things, including her love of henges and the Cistercians, her excavations in the region, and how she met her husband Matthew Stout, who she works very closely with on many projects. This conversation was truly a joy, and I hope you agree that Geraldine's positivity and knowledge make her a fantastic guest.
