I went to see Live in 1995 in Hartford CT. I think it was the Throwing Copper tour at the Hartford Meadows with my son .My wife urged me not to bring my son because he was 4 yrs old. Well you know how that turned out. WE had a great time. Besides he loved Live and so did I. We did get some weird looks from other people there when they saw a 4yr old jamming to Live. I think maybe it was Bush that opened for you guys. Whoever opened, the drummer decided to slam his drums. He was feeling it I guess lol. Great times. My son is now 30 yrs old..Time flys but you guys sound great still

Argumentatively & quite possibly the best band in the “mainstream” valve of the 90’s era. Just the fact that these tunes were on the top charts and on mainstream radio just shows the much higher levels of intellect, creativity & overall intelligence of the people in their primes during that decade. LIVE’s songs still are so relative today & most of their tunes are timeless (in my opinion of course). Comparing this to the absolute bullshit that’s on mainstream film, radio & gets all the exposure just totally shows how fuckin dumb ppl have become. I’m sorry but big artists lil baby and futures subject matter, lyrical content & overall performance have been done a milli times over already by so many hip hop/rap artists…life in the streets, Comin up out tha mud, sellin dope, gang affiliated lifestyles, jewelry, cash & hoes is the god damn subject of EVERY motherfuckin rap song out there that’s topping charts & shit. Like I get it totally a place for that genre and those artists in the overall music scene but for artists & songs like that to be constantly topping the charts for years now is just fucking so sad. Especially when there are SO many amazing bands/artists who write incredible songs about real human experiences & their emotion & spirit affected by those experiences….they just get lost deep down in the dark of the internet because there’s no way to get them exposure to ppl who actually appreciate real music as an art form or media type…& not just a way to make money, wear designer, get famous & get a nice piece of ice & a blue check on their IG. Bands like Live who were able to get that exposure because ppl in the 90s truly knew what was good talented music were fortunate to be coming up AT that specific time. Guaranteed if lightning crashes and I alone got released today it would in no way get the success it got back in the day.
