I was so nervous about miscarriage as well. The first blood test gave me a huge weight off my shoulders just knowing I'm healthy, but we had to wait another 2 weeks for our first ultrasound (they had no availability) and I can't explain the amazing feeling we had seeing the ultrasound and hearing the baby's heart beat for the first time. I cried I was so relieved and I finally felt secure that I was a mom of a healthy, living baby ❤ It feels like it takes forever to get that first ultrasound. The symptoms (sore breasts, exhaustion, cravings, nausea) all helped remind me I was ok and still pregnant until that confirmation. Those symptoms are ironically a blessing! Pregnancy is a chain of soooo many amazing little miracles that come together. These videos gave me so much reassurance and taught me so much!!! Thank you!!!! I love yall!!!!🥰 God bless all the mommies out there 🩷

You two are what kept me company during my pregnancy and now my baby girl smiles everytime you guys come back on our tv :) I'm a pharmacist and very much appreciate having fellow medical professionals to "discuss" with and bounce ideas! Have you gotten the bivalent booster before or during the pregnancy - what do you guys think of its efficacy now? Also, how has it been weaning Cecilia off breastmilk/nursing? We have not gone through sleep training for no nursing through the night, but putting her down for sleep has become natural, so especially thinking ahead for next pregnancy! Breastfeeding is a beautiful and challenging journey, so it's definitely bittersweet.

When’s your little boy due? I’m also having a boy (first child) and I’m due mid March :) I LOVE watching your videos and lives! They’ve helped me so much during this pregnancy. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experiences with us! I would appreciate a video on how to prepare for labor, absolutely. And prepping the hospital bag/s.

For the hip pain, see a chiropractor!!! I would not have survived my 3rd trimester without my chiropractor. I felt like my hips kept coming out of place and they kept putting them back. That and warm (not super hot) epsom salt baths.

With the spectra, the Cara cups are a wonderful addition. They attach to either specta base, but fit in bra and under shirt. They combine the discretion of wearable pumps with the power of your spectra!

Congratulations on Baby #2. I do have a question if you can provide some insight to. I have had 2 miscarriages which where, we got pregnant immediately after trying but in both cases it was only a sac, and it didn't develop further into a fetus etc. Both cases, my hcg hormones was high, to a point where I was it felt like I had hyperemesis gravidarum. I did not naturally had the miscarriage, had to have a D&G. GPs noted that there isn't much I can do but just to try. Do you have any insights or thoughts on this?

Could you please talk about having a baby that will need to go to the nicu? My baby has transposition of the great arteries and despite congenital heart defects being common, there isn’t a lot of support or information for moms and dads facing this type of diagnosis.

Will you guys do a video about PPROM and preemies? My best friend just had a baby girl at exactly 23 weeks. It is an entire different world than having a baby you can take home.

I keep hearing you can't overfeed a breastfeed baby but on multiple occasions over the last week and a half (she's 5 weeks old now) I've given my baby lize 2oz from a bottle and then let her "top off" at the breast and while breastfeeding she'll vomit. I mentioned it to our pediatrician and she was like "yup, that happens sometimes" but now I'm afraid to let her top off at the breast after giving her some pumped milk in a bottle

I’m on progesterone and am very nervous when it’s time to go off of it. How can you tell when the placental has taken over progesterone production an why happens if you go off too soon? I’ve had several miscarriages and am scared something might happen.

I remember in one of your videos you said you started giving milk at 10 months. Which video was that and could you do speak more to that? I’m breastfeeding by exclusively pumping and would be thrilled to stop at 10 months instead of a year!

Hey- I'm going to be doing an elective c section- I'm going to request general anesthesia for quite a few reasons- do you think the drs will debate me on it
@dh5272
Жыл бұрын
(From a Labor Nurse) Yes they will certainly argue and it is unlikely they will allow you to do this for an elective cesarean. General anesthesia is usually used in c sections only in emergencies as it can increase risk for both baby and mom. If you want general due to anxiety, they can certainly give you anxiety medication prior to going to the OR, but if there are other reasons, you would want to discuss it with your provider far prior to delivery.
