Agreed .. great guts but the interrupt much too often .. the negative effect of this is bills stories / ideas get lost in translation

I don't know anything about Q but I am a big fan of BIlls and listen to every podcast he's been on. I've never heard a podcast host talk more than the guest till now. The host just rambles on forever it seems like and when Bill did talk he would interrupt and talk over him. It was hard to listen to it but I powered through because I wanted to hear what bill had to say when he was given the chance.

yeah its rough. dont know these 2 either but i respect rapiers style and enjoy his approach so figured id give a listen. youd think the hosts invited him on to take advantage of his expertise, draw out his story, etc, not to bloviate or interrupt. seem like nice guys so not trying to be a prick - hopefully the host honestly critiques his content for improvement or accepts constructive criticism from friends. even 5 min segments on cnn or fox allow their guests to speak

That's just how Kevin is. Anyone who prides themselves on being an "asshole" (he says that about himself), is generally pretty ego driven and won't care how any of us look at it. He did the same thing when he talked with Trey Knight. I've said it before and I'll say it again, a podcast is only as good as the host. You can have the most interesting, informative, amazing individual on, but if the host can't shut up, or let the focus be on someone else for a bit, the show will suck. It really sucks when you have a guy like Kevin, who has amazing contacts and could produce some good stuff, if he'd let the ego go.

Pretty funny they mentioned the bin laden raid, bill was probably getting nervous lol. Bill was 100% on that operation. So fucking cool. When Andy stumpf mentioned it, bill absolutely did not want to talk about it. Definitely cool y’all didn’t push him on that. Great episode.

Great stuff. I need to comment on the tourniquet discussion. A tourniquet applied effectively for 23 hours (I.e. something that completely occludes blood flow) will most certainly result in the loss of limb. Period. The individual who kept his leg… had a tourniquet that simply wasn’t needed and or didn’t occlude arterial flow. I am a trauma surgeon and deployed multiple times to AFG and Iraq. So. Just needed to say that. With all do respect. Thank you and you’re guest.

Good podcast. Friendly advice, let your interviewee talk more. Seems like Bill would start and you would interrupt him. Only at min 42 so far but felt a need to comment as it has happened so much

Still waiting for Bill to respond to the question many have, “where are these knives made?” Because at those price point’s they should be sourced and made in the USA. The fact that the question goes unanswered speaks volumes. Imagine that. A patriot being unpatriotic

I I for sure believe it was inherit for him to grow and learn quick on that deck while having the chance to skate . #herosarestuffoflegends🇺🇸

There was a shooting show on the outdoor channel, the runup to the show-the intro, had this statistic...something along the lines of, in 80 percent of attempted violent crimes, just the mere presence of a firearm, deters would be attackers. Not the use of, the PRESENCE of. I always thought that was a pretty convincing bit of info to convince someone to carry everyday. However, I also believe a knifeless man, is a lifeless man. If I had my way, I'd never be caught ANYWHERE without a firearm....this damn wheel gun though....

I too, am guilty of the most sacrelig sporadic carry practice. My only functioning weapon; a Ruger .45 long with a cowboy belt. It's rather inconvenient to say the least. Apparently Taurus doesnt fix their shit, and due to their flawed manufacturing process in early polymer models, my .45 millennium pro (which I adore) has cracks on both sides in the detent that the safety requires. I will not operate a known malfunctioning weapon. IA practice I developed after I had a shitty little pistol come apart in my face once. When my long time, well versed shooting friend, unfamiliar with Q , asked me yesterday, why I want a Q, I explained that I want the best, because of the myriad of bad experiences with shit manufacturing.

Superb vid Guys!! Bill is as Classy as it gets however there are very very very few more dangerous men on the face of this earth if you're his adversary. Good luck with that, haha. I'm a lil late to the party though as former federal LE & CQB Instructor, it was ingrained into my brain(actually pounded, lol) by my mentor that it is ALWAYS better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6. Granted, that is an overused cliche from its incessant overuse in the LE/Military TV shows/movies, however that is a simple immutable rule. Continued Success Gents🍻 RP
