How long does colouring take for traditional animation? Also how do you ensure consistency with colouring each frame?

So generous on the pricing of your animation tutorials. Thank you , Aaron ! Folks, this is the real stuff , you'll never get better instruction in character animation even if you pay thousands at some art school.

It doesn't take much funds... plywood drawing board, with a disk. and stack of paper and a peg board system. The best start is to trace off a cartoon on animation paper and play with the ruff drawings. Study the movement. If you have a freeze frame on a disk player you can tape the paper on the screen and register it. Draw every 3-4th frame and collect a small stack of ruffs. You can draw off any kind of film, live action, or a disney film scene. Study the motion by flipping the drawings like a BIG flip book.

What equipment do you use to hold the paper in place I want that. Can you tell me?
@rossmarshall3906

It's an animation disk peg board with glass underlighting. It can slide move clockwise and counter clock wise. Some have stiff rollers, most are just mounted in a wooden hole. Animation supply companies sell them. Or you can make your own.
