What happened to the giveaway prize that I won on your 28 Aug 2022 Livestream? I'm still waiting for it to arrive. Thank god that livestream is still available and my comment on the screen and all your lies and false promises are also recorded in that video. Actually Mr. George Bamford chose me as the winner in that livestream. Andrew Morgan was there too. How many times did I remind you and your friend at P&P about this matter? Everytime you said Oh I'm sorry, I will take care of it tomorrow! What happened when I posted this matter on Reddit? You sent your online goons to threaten me to take down my post! Do you know how many people sent me msgs and screenshots with the same exact story as mine? One of them once flew from Poland to UK just to meet you in person for 5 minutes! and even he was fed up with your lies, he told me that you promised to send him a Casio F91 and he never ever received anything and when he reminded you after a year! you blocked him on Insta!!! He said I can't forget myself for being so dumb to be a fan of this liar. No Nico, you can't make the watch world a better place, you're ruining it. PS. Shove that tshirt up your @$$, I don't want it anymore, just wanted to remind you how cheap you are 🤮

Where does Omega keep going? the Speedmaster, the MoonXSwatch etc. As much as I hate to say it, if these Brands don’t continue to evolve, they may miss the boat. This was a great episode, everyone was so passionate! I'm with Nico on Hublot but I don't get how can someone dislike Hublot so much but appreciate Richard Mille. Hublot's spirit of big bang line look so much like RMs. Sure, RM uses more exotic materials and has more innovative movements but they also cost 10 times more. I think it was Adrian that brought up Sinn, they released some new U50 models and the one with gold-bronze bezel looks so amazingly cool! Finally, 2 watches that I think are criminally underrated are Andersen Geneve world timers and Louis Erard regulator watches.

Agree that Nico is speaking too much about his - apparently younger - clientele. If they all lost interest in Rolex tomorrow, Rolex would still have plenty of 40 yr and older buyers to buy every piece - wait times would get a little shorter. He also fails to understand that his current 25 yr old clients will be 45 in 20 yrs; might be done wearing flash watches and putting diamonds on everything.

If Nico doesn't believe that a brand's history is that important, can he not eventually come to love Hublot by taking that belief seriously and ignoring their past? If Hublot improve their finishing and rework their pricing to be more aligned, add some form of complication/innovation and then all of his qualms would be gone. The question then is if he could gracefully revise that very strong opinion that almost forms a part of his identity and popularity.

Deep down I think much of all the Watch World’s scorn for Hublot is the loud, new money, d-bag factor. And RM - and even Rolex - have plenty of that. Andrew’s pt about materials/innovation are untouchable. It’s fact. Yeah, should have upped their movements sooner.
@kbarnbrook4993

I think we need to rate watch brands and watches across multiple metrics. Most watch aficionados only look at two/three dimensions - heritage, watchmaking (movement) and secondary market value. But there are other dimensions too like design (Longines, Nomos), Coolness factor (AP Royal Oak, Hublot, RM). If you showed a Tudor to a non watch person, they are quite likely going to hate it. My friends and family (except my wife) don't understand why I picked up a Railmaster and they will be just as flabbergasted when I pick up a Seamaster 300 Master Coaxial next. Hublot and RM are very modern design and are looking to what watches could be in the future. Longines has fantastic heritage and a back catalog of great design and yet it doesn't get enough respect because the movements aren't in-house. Personally, I don't much care about in house movement. I will take a good looking watch (modern or heritage) over a in-house movement. And if mechanical watches became more popular, most people would too

Love the honest opinions boys. Nico's right that George and Andrew being associated to the LVMH group doesn't let them give 100% transparent opinions about them, but they're far, FAR from being sunshine and rainbows about their brands. Nico's definitely CHOOSING not to acknowledge anything Hublot does, even if they're far from being the pure fashion and meaningless brand he makes it out to be. They've evolved far from the ripoff watch Nico always brings up, but they definitely shouldn't be compared with the greatest watch brands. They do offer products that other brands can't (i.e. full sapphire case and bracelet watch). Nico talked about the full sapphire case RM like it was the most incredible innovation ever. He should give Hublot some props, but he still doesn't need to like them. Call a spade a spade, then slag them off for whatever reason you have to not like them still.

Only just got into the channel but have been enjoying it a lot. Just a few thoughts and of course, I could be wrong, but here goes: - I think it works best with Adrian leading it as this seems to diffuse the competition for talking between George and Andrew - I’m not crazy about the producer/editor being in the videos as already a lot of voices - The Top Gear thing is possibly a bit overdone. The good part is the chemistry but having a version of the Stig is a bit much. - I’ve watched the videos out of sequence so maybe this is less of an issue now but it’s quite annoying when Andrew goes on and on without letting the other guys talk Anyway, all good stuff and looking forward to seeing how this shapes up
@FRST2012

Going to an earlier point in discussing movements, it’s a difficult one, you can buy a £800 high quality stainless steel watch with a Sellita 200-1, but you can also pay £2700 for the same movement in another brand with more history/heritage. Maybe that will get lost on the next generation. Obviously things will alway change, when looking at music digital/vinyl if history/heritage was stronger we would still be playing vinyl on turntables, but kids have zero interest in it. Maybe this is where Tag Heuer isn’t so silly? The latest generation ‘want’ smart watches/fit bits etc. Tag at least is dipping it’s toe into that arena.

Nico has a solid point about Hublot going way too long (at those prices) with average movements. But there’s a lot more to a watch and that’s where Andrew’s materials/innovation arguments really shine. Plus - anyone being honest will admit some (most?) of their issue is the loud new money d-bag factor that is a sizable % of Hublot owners. By that metric - Rolex is in bad shape too… you all know it’s true; plenty of idiots wearing the Crown. PS - found George’s IWC shirt on eBay… on the way!

Then he talks about how a wave of new rich are going to kill the old stalwarts in the industry because they’re not being innovative enough. You can totally put and Invicta logo on the Richard Mille. I think Invicta makes a Richard Mille homage. There is video that Theo and Harris where they talk about some luxury watches that look like mall watches such as JLC Polaris. Yes from distance or photos online some luxury watches can look like a similarly design cheap mall watch but you have look closer. The difference is in the details. That is the same case with the Baume and Mercier Riviera. In person the watch is amazing especially considering the price.

@@spa2damax I don’t! I don’t think you really read my comment. I’m saying the style and design from a distance or from a glance could look like an Invicta watch. Invicta makes a Richard Mille homagey watch. I think both companies evoke the same vibe aesthetically except one wearer is trying to look rich while the other is actually rich. But like I said in my comment its about the details you have to look closer. Once you look at it in person and have it in hand you know its not some generic watch.
