I'm a recently graduated architecture part 1 student. I find both Unreal Engine and Twinmotion very helpful. These softwares are not very popular among student at our college. Some tutors argued against using it, they think the visualization image seems quite 'video gameish', and lacks a certain amount of personal flair. I hope Twinmotion can implement more features that cater to also education needs not just commercials. Specifically, Twinmotion may guide students in choosing the proper features within the software for the specific task they are working on (maybe some students are using the software to study lighting conditions in a space, maybe some use for storytelling, some may use it for rendering ), Twinmotion can also provide workflow recommendations for students, provide guidance in achieving different visualization effects. At which stage of the design process can we start using the software? How much of the software can we rely on in the academic environment?

Some of us have been using the Unreal Engine in architecture since 2004. Dezeen is a bit late to the conversation. That said, hurrah for the Unreal 5 iteration.

this is about twinmotion not exactly unreal lol

@@qominid6999 except twinmotion uses a simplified version of the unreal engine, so lol right back at you.

My critique to Murray but in general is if constraints are the biggest thing holding us back. Isn’t constraints also the solution. I’m positive we can formulate some of these constrain from the architecture world into these game systems.
