Tonight we are using the big telescope to look at the full moon to identify seas and craters and other features visible to binoculars, telescopes and the naked eye. There are more than 20 seas visible on the moon, and only a few are commonly known.
The telescope focus and collimation are excellent, we will be using the large frame color camera and I'll be taking requests after we look at the moon. Note, the thumbnail shows the relative size of the Continental US on the face of the moon.
