I stayed here for about two weeks. This is without a doubt the nicest, friendliest marina I have ever stayed at. They have everything you need. And Palmetto is a nice little town. Margaret is great,

A lot of liveaboards sail regularly, depends on the persons. And an easy way to cool the boat down in summer is to cover the main cabin area with a boom tent. I live in the PNW and live on a 32 ft Mariner Ketch. $350 mo.

OK , they are living aboard their boats , but. how much do any of them actually sail ? living in a Marina and having all the comforts is one thing , but using the boat is another . :) just my thought

Well, three of the boats in the video sailed down to the keys and enjoyed a month long vacation as well as shorter trips to nearby locations and overnighters. The marina is cool but we're sailors first.

I wonder how hot it must get on those boats, do they have AC?

+riphaven Yes, most boats have AC with elec., water, cable, pump-out and more on the dock. Most people hunker down in their cool cabins when it's hot but many enjoy the heat. When out on the open water, the fresh air and breeze cools things off.

yes, we connect to shore power (110) in the marina just like RV's.
