My husband had cirrhosis , he had it for seven years , they said he would only live five , at the end he became incoherent and couldn’t speak or know where he was . They put him in palliative care and passed away in three days. So take care of yourself if you feel like your not yourself go to the hospital. God bless you , prayers

The liver doctor gave me less than 24 hours to live on February 6 of this year. Needless to say I'm still here. As far as the cirrhosis is concerned I can remember some of the symptoms that manifested 4 years before I was diagnosed. Like you I blew it off and didn't seek medical attention. Thanks for sharing your experiences.

It doesn’t bother me, I know if I’m going to put videos out I’m going to get all kinds of comments. But thank you! It’s been difficult to find a place over the phone. Most places want 3 times the rent in income. But I haven’t given up 😊

I lost 2 friends to this. One i was extremely close with 3 years ago and another one this spring. Both from decades of heavy heavy alcohol consumption. One continued to drink well after her diagnosis. I tried to get her help. Even offered to pay for rehab to help her. I begged. Sadly she passed. I remember our last conversation. Your vids are great. A lot of good honest info. Inspiring to others. Thanks for making these.

I had all the tests done to get liver transplant. They start telling you more when you’re in the process. Post liver is a nightmare. It’s life but not much of one. Plus they kept asking if I had enough money to pay for the operation and after script cost. That was the key concern

Just found your channel after being recommended it! I have some swallowing problems from my chiari malformation. I choke a lot. I know how much it sucks so i cant imagine how hard it must be for you. I'm subscribing to you. I enjoy hearing you talk about your life, you seem super down to earth! I hope you feel better and get things figured out. I don't know much about cirrhosis, is it possible for your liver to stabilize and it not get any worse or will it always progress?

write that you are scared about your liver on a a little note. Tape it on the back of your refrigerator or somewhere were you will forget about it. Years from now you will rediscover the note and you will get peace to know that you were and are fine.

I never had a tips procedure. And no nothing you said is accurate about what I have. Look up Achalasia. That’s what’s causing my esophagus issues. It’s a 1 in 100000 people have it. It’s rare. It is possible to have more than one condition. I do appreciate your comments. Imagine feeling like you had a baseball stuck right behind your sternum and it’s being squeezed and the spasms are like being punched in the diaphragm.

@@valerielock2374 unfortunately there’s no cure for Achalasia, they can cut the opening but they won’t on me because of the liver. It’s in the cells, not from anything. The swallowing problem started before the liver. Just wasn’t as bad.

@@valerielock2374 no lol. They took a look at the scan and said it was too far gone. The biopsy showed the whole liver was bad, how I’m doing as well as I am Is a mystery. I don’t have the typical stuff that others have. There is more than one way.
