Your videos have been so comforting as of late. My boyfriend and I are about to go long distance for 9 months after living together for 3 years, and it hasn’t really hit me until recently how jarring it will be for this new chapter. Thanks for sharing your life with us ❤

Ava!! My heart goes out to you. My hubby and I did it last summer and we are preparing to do it again soon. I got stationed out of state on military orders unexpectedly and my husband can’t move because he is a State Trooper where we live. It stinks but I know it’s not forever and like you said, it makes the moments together that much sweeter. Praying for you during this time and we got this. Sending you all the love 🩵

Hey I don't know if you'll ever see this but I just wanna say how you and your channel has impacted me. I'm a senior in high school and just a month and a half away from graduating and honestly these couples week have been very overwhelming with big projects and tests coming up, senioritis is hitting really hard. But every time I watch your videos, from your high school days to now, it instantly makes my day better and helps pull me out of this personal slump and inspires me to keep my head held high, finish strong, graduate and succeed with in life. Thank you for being an amazing role model, we love and admire you so much. ❤😃.

I am sure that you're struggling a bit with this change, but I want to thank you for sharing it. My boyfriend and I have been together for 5 years, moved in together in June 2022. We recently found out that he will be relocated for anywhere between 2 and 6 months at the end of August. I still have 4 months with him here but I am already sad and nervous thinking about it. I have never lived alone, and we haven't been away from each other for longer than 2 weeks. seeing you trying to be positive about this situation is very inspiring and I will try my best to look at it the way you do!

just so you know holes in the wall are part of normal wear and tear and the landlord isn't allowed to take your deposit for that! it's literally only actual damage. some of them try to pull one over on ya and keep the deposit but it's actually very rare circumstances that you have to lose it. look it up all the info is in the tenant acts! your landlord sounds super picky, you're not even allowed to ask someone not to have plants. landlords do because they know that ppl are usually desperate and will do anything to have a home. anyway good luck with it all!

Ava you mentioned being nervous to cook chicken - I’d highly recommend getting a meat thermometer. It makes it less intimidating. 💛 Chicken is cooked when it’s 165•F inside. I recommend getting boneless skinless chicken cutlets - they’re pretty much thin chicken breasts, and they are the easiest to cook because they are the same thickness throughout. Hope this helps and is not unsolicited advice 😬 I just know you’ve talked about cooking more being a big goal of yours 😊

Ava, you have every right to be upset don’t apologize for your feelings during this change. I have been in a long distance relationship with my boyfriend for about a year and a half after living together for a year. It’s definitely not easy, but I know you two will get through it! One thing that my boyfriend and I love doing is virtual cooking dates! We will both make the same recipe on FaceTime together and then eat dinner together. It seems silly, but it really does make it feel like he’s right there with me. You got this Ava, I’ll be cheering you on every step of the way!
