EASY Stuffed Chicken Recipe!
Things needed:
Chicken thighs
Cream Cheese
Spinage
Mushrooms
Cream of chicken soup
Basil leaves
Green onions
Tony's Creole seasoning
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Garlic Salt
Pepper
Grilled chicken seasoning
Regular chicken seasoning
Olive oil
Chop all veggies and place in a large mixing bowl along with the cream cheese. You can use 1 to 2 sticks depending on how much you make. I used 2 sticks of cream cheese for 3 thighs with leftover filling for a separate dish.
Combine all seasonings in the bowl along with veggies and cream cheese and mix until you get a thick cake-like consistency...this is your filling! Add a dab of olive oil for easier mixing!
Peel back the top layer (skin) of the chicken thigh and stuff! You can add as much or as little as you like! After the filling is added, season each thigh to taste (top and bottom).
Add olive oil to a clear baking dish and add your chicken. Drizzle a bit of olive oil on top of the chicken and place in a preheated oven at 350 for 1 hour and 35-45 minutes.
Gravy: THIS IS TOTALLY OPTIONAL!
The olive oil and cream cheese mixture made its own separate gravy, however, using a can of the cream of chicken soup along with cooked mushrooms gave it EXTRA flavor!! Just a little on the top will do the trick!
Serve with mashed potatoes for your choice of veggie on the side and enjoy!
