Thank you everyone for watching! We have had an issue with our editing software modifying our text when we download so at 08:28 it should read “the next day”.

I’ve recently thought about doing this and probably will. I’ll first probably start with a station wagon or something and then try to work my way up, but this is my dream, and I’m in Seattle too!

Sweet! If we knew more about car camping before we went all-in on vanlife we definitely would have started sooner 🤙🏼

Have you guys tried doing your own things in a city? Take the time to map the things you want to do. From there, plan the things you must/want to do together and if there are things you can’t both agree on, how about pick a day where you each do what you want to do. I understand the van is your house but you can still drop each other off where is needed. Matt loves to hike, maybe he can do the really strenuous hikes on his own while you go into town or just chill at your campsite or relax outdoors etc. You can still have your own space, just have to get creative and sometimes may take some work but worth it for your sanities. Just find the balance, like you guys say of not losing yourself but also not each other.

We’ve definitely tried that many times and it’s super doable. But most of the time the hikes are more than an hour away so it makes planning difficult

Just an observation. Ive seen you guys push yourself to the point of exhaustion a couple times now, and while i know you guys have a goal of 1million miles, and i know we all want to see you hit that goal; NONE of us want to watch you guys run yourselves ragged to get there. Its OK to SLOW DOWN! Take your time. The miles arent going anywhere. Dont rush it. Heres to 1 million HEALTHY, un-rushed miles.
@Meghanandmatt
Жыл бұрын
Cheers to that! Thanks for looking out for us. We learned our lesson the hard way and are in no rush to get to 1 million healthy miles 🤙🏼

I believe Mt Whitney is the highest peak in the lower 48
@Meghanandmatt

You’re correct, Whitney is taller, but Rainier is the tallest single peak in the lower 48. Also this is why we had the “dont fact check us” disclaimer 😂

Ya'll are cracking me up. It's Pacific Northwest.....no one calls it the P-N-W. Ha! Also, thank you for confirming my lack of desire to ever go to the Gum Wall despite numerous visits to Seattle over the years. I am glad you enjoyed Mt. Rainier. If you head to the Hood Canal, or down around the Hoh Rainforest, let me know.....I have a killer spot on the Hoh River you should try to camp at. But watch out for the vampires!

Such an interesting take on city vanlife adventures. I'm not sure our camper would be suited for staying in any cities - so we stay outside and then drive in with our truck.
