It's unfortunate that some of the nicest areas of the country have been destroyed by deranged social policies (or whatever creative terms you prefer). Southern OR is outstanding scenery but the fact it's in Oregon is enough for me to not live there. I live in WA, I know how it is.

Well… I appreciate your perspective, but I don’t think this place is ruined. I rather love it here. It’s not perfect, but I’m ok with that. Which part of WA are you in?

Great video. We've been here 5 years now. You missed the arts. The museum downtown as well as the Glass Forge are really nice and there is other hidden art works all over the city. Then there is "meat Disneyland" in Cave Junction, Taylors Sausage!

I love the Rogue Valley. I seriously considered living there. But, the lack of direct flights from MFR to other cities is a major con. Even flying to Southern California or Las Vegas is not easy. Almost always requires a connection in SEA or SFO, with very few airline choices, expensive for short flights, not guaranteed to have a flight every day and some airlines not operating during the winter months.
@tmoddison
Жыл бұрын
That’s a fair point. Although, it has gotten better. You can fly direct to LAS via Allegiant Air, and directly to LAX a few times a day with various airlines. Do you like to travel a lot?

Why would you want to fly to California 😂

@@tmoddison You are 100% right. I totally missed that. I currently live in Las Vegas so direct flights to MFR helps. I do want to be able to travel still after buying a house. So, airport locations is one of those factors to consider.

@@arafchowdhury3634 Family/Friends. The most reasonable airline I know of is Avelo. But only flies to Burbank infrequently.

For sure! I travel a bit. The silver lining of the small airport is that if you’re TSAPre Check, you’ll get right through security and don’t usually have to wait around a long time! (Except for the super early flights - don’t mess around with those. The airport gets crowded and I’ve missed a flight before!)
