I’m a new subscriber and I’ll tell you what I’ve enjoyed about your videos. First, you have a great smile and the cutest giggle. It’s nice seeing someone who smiles and laughs so frequently so thank you for that. Second, you take us places and show us what it’s like in your world. You’re never loud and obnoxious, just pleasant and enjoyable. Third, you’re also showing others a way to live the nomadic life if they choose that path. Never would have thought of door dash as a revenue stream to sustain you throughout your travels but you’ve shown that it works. Thank you for another enjoyable video. Keep being you. 😊

I didn’t know what they either. Apparently they are: muscovy ducks have red, fleshy protuberances on the face while their plumage is brownish-black with iridescent green and purple and white wing patches. Muscovy ducks are social. They have a social hierarchy in which males protect territories that they establish by dominating other males with visual displays.

Little story about alligator. Went out with the girls for dinner and saw alligator on the menu as an appetizer. I ordered it because I had never had it before. One of my gal pals questioned if I could eat alligator as I am a vegetarian. Googled it and it came back as a seafood! Who would have knew! Loved it!

Looks like Tallahassee is a good dash spot. I saw a FSU bus in the video so that would make sense that a college town would be good for dashing. A cool concept for the channel might be to keep track of how much you make in each area as you travel to see where the best places to dash are. It would also be interesting to see a monthly budget video to see how much you can make dashing or doing other gig economy jobs verses the cost of living the nomad lifestyle. One of the big questions in my mind as I watch your videos is that of vehicle expenses. 😎✌️

Wow Rowan I’m glad you tried the gator and lived to tell about it and now I’m curious. I tried rabbit which is sad because they are so cute, but boy oh boy it was a delicious meat. It was cooked Moroccan style and maybe that had a lot to do with the yummy taste I don’t know. It did taste like chicken. I think I would be willing to try gator or rattle snake because yes I do hear they taste a lot like chicken too. I will not eat snail. For one I think they are gross looking, some say it taste a lot like calamari and I love calamari, but will pass on snail. Anyways gotta give it to you for being so bold! Be safe. I really like your doordashing and would like more info about that. I also am looking for a van and money making ideas. You are a pleasure to watch. Very calming and relatable and informative. The most enjoyable channels for me are the ones who just do life and let me be the fly on the wall. You know what I mean? I don't need to be entertained. Just watching you do life makes me happy. Hello Rowan . I'm in central Florida near Daytona and let me tell you , gator tail is the best ! Also rattler . I've hunted both back in the old days . Today gator is protected but every year we have a lottery for so many gator hunting licences . In the old days my buddy and I would go out on the Saint Johns river in a canoe with 22 rifles . Dragging them back to shore was the hard part . Every year we have a wild game cookout put on by the county . There you can try gator , rattler , bear , venison and sometimes someone will bring shark . It's all very good . People ask me why we eat this stuff and I tell them way back in the early days this is most of what the pioneers ate , besides sea food and cattle . There were no 7-11's or Wal Marts on every corner like there is today . And it didn't hurt us none either . Well , you have a good one and I'll look for you tomorrow ! 😊

They look like Muscovy ducks? I’ve never had gator but I’ll have to try it if I had the opportunity! Just started following you. It popped up one day maybe since I follow my friend who just started her van life journey early 2023. I have yet to do it because I work full time and my husband has no desire to. But when I DO retire (HOPEFULLY when I’m 62), I may set out on an adventure in my Outback (I do have a teardrop also that my Subie can pull). But I’ve been learning so much from the nomads/boondocker community I follow (the good, bad, and the not so great which is what everyone needs to learn because you just need to have your wits about you and be prepared and aware) but it’s probably the best feeling to be free (as my friend always says). She has met so many great people along her journey too! Glad to find you too!

Kind of like I'm there with you, and we're visiting. I'm so glad you enjoyed the gator. Another thing you should give a whirl when you get a chance, is chicken with some Arby's sauce to dip it in 😋

My friend raises chickens, they eat a lot of human food, and produce eggs, and are free ranged. I feed birds outside donuts and cereal and cooked human food. Blue jays, starlings, doves, juncos, sparrows etc feast on the food, and they come all year around 😏 also the birds in the fast food restaurant parking lots eat fries and stuff people throw out. I've fed geese at the park I went to growing up, and have taken my kid and their friends to feed them. They eat our dry cereal we take out there, and snatch our sandwiches lol so I'm pretty sure they can digest it, because there is bird droppings everywhere 😏

Love this video. Got to see some places I went with my daughter that lives in Tallahassee ❤. Thank you 😁
