I agree with your review. This game is very bland. I remember looking forward to riding the Gondola and then you don't even get to do that. There are much better games using Anime art style available on PSVR2. There are a few I haven't played that might be better, but from ones I have played, your best bet for an immersive Anime experience on PSVR2 is Sushi Ben or Soul Covenant, although Soul Covenant will require you to have 1-3 friends join you for co-op to make it easier later into the game since the AI partners the game provides aren't good enough to be as helpful as other human players would be.

Thanks again for your game recommendations here and on Reddit! I actually enjoyed Dyschronia, but felt like it could have been so much more. The developer responded to me on an AMA that they plan to keep working on Chronos games. I hope in any future installments that they expand upon the gameplay and make the world feel more alive.

@@parrydogsickle People that have stuck with the game to complete it generally have nice things to say about Dyschronia, but it is a hard game to stick with because of how bland it feels. I think it takes too long to "get started" for most players.

@@cusmanfair point, and I think a lot of that has to do with the visual novel style. Which wouldn't be so bad if you could actually skip the dialogue and cut scenes like I mention at 7:18. I hope they implement such a feature in any future sequels.
