Firstly thank you Keegan for so generously sharing and allowing us to see glimpses of your personal life, your vlogs really brighten my day. Secondly it always stuns me that people feel justified to blithely comment and pass judgement on others appearance and dress!! What is that old adage ... “If you can’t say something nice ....” Hopefully these quite frankly rude comments ( I thought you looked great) won’t deter you from vloging. Cheers from Australia. 🇦🇺🐨😘

I’m a 63 year old gay man. You all touched on something I hate. It is how many stereotypically vicious judgmental queens there are in the gay community. Then there are the judgmental gays that aren’t necessarily queens, they are just loaded with pretense and arrogance. Between the two groups, I have spent a lifetime looking for a way to fit into the community because I don’t fit into any of the stereotypes. I’ve long held the theory that a large part of the negativity in the gay community comes from our struggles against the bigotry many of us have faced. I feel like so many of us are full of pain and anger as a result of our struggles. Sadly, all to many of us then lash out blindly at anyone and everyone because of it. This instead of learning not to treat others the way we’ve been treated. I finally discovered a wonderfully, warm and accepting group who camp at an amazing gay campground in Missouri in the US. It’s a group that seems to accept everyone for who they are without judgement. I remember the first time I went there. It’s as if I could breathe for the first time. I really wish we would do better as a community. Heaven knows, we could do better.

I'm a New Zealander. I campaigned back in the 1980s here when the Homosexual Law Reform Bill went through in Parliament. The law did change. I remember back in the 1970s/ 80s some gay men had self loathing. It wasn't their fault because of the oppression towards gay men. How were we to feel good about ourselves when there was so much negativity and hostility aimed at us.

Keegan, I came to your channel from Joel’s channel, and I just want to say how refreshing your lifestyle is, because you don’t conform to the “gay normal”, I know that is the message that y’all are trying to get across with your new podcast, you and Joel are just everyday men living your life on your terms. I have only one small complaint, in the beginning of the video when you are walking the camera is bouncing so bad that I had to skip ahead because it was making me ill. Just something to consider in the future, I know that I am not the only one who has issues with to much bouncing around in videos.

Can you get rid of the negative remarks? I know my channel gives me the option of not allowing the negative comments through. The haters don’t hate you. They hate everyone. Also, I do what we call in the States “house/pet sitting” and I go to people’s homes, watch pets, water gardens and house plants, feed and walk pets, get mail, take in packages, etc. I also send pics of pets on a daily basis, text daily, and just try to make the home/pet owners feel as if I’m the next best thing to their being at the home. (Of course, I only do it word-of-mouth. No advertising.). Of course, I’m paid, but not that much. Maybe you could find someone you trust to stay WITH Finn and Eva? At your home? It really is best for the dogs, I feel. No judgment

Do you realize your arms and hands get expressive when you do certain things and your voice softens when you are discussing things like clothes or art? I saw a video where you were discussing some art and your speech softened, it’s not a feminine thing but maybe a more relaxed state. I was wondering if it’s a conscious thing or not because I’m told I do it around gay friends and I don’t do it around straights and I honestly don’t know I do it. I don’t know what being “gay” is because I spent so long being straight and now, I don’t know how to be gay because I’m just me 🤷🏽♂️ and I spent so many years trying to make sure I was butch enough for anyone watching. I’ll do something and friends will say what was that and I don’t know what I did but I think it’s like a muscle that’s constantly been in use and I just relax it subconsciously, was wondering if that’s ever been part of your experience?

You are not bad looking, but not exactly handsome. The reason I say this is cuz the shape of your head is the same as Sloth's in the movie, The Goonies, which takes you off my handsome list. Who would I consider handsome? Molly Ringwald's crush in the movie 16 Candles. Still is, decades after the movie released. But you know what? The Goonies is so beloved, I'd rather be Sloth than the dude in 16 Candles. And quite frankly, being handsome is not where it's at. If you're healthy, have people to love and who love you back, you're WAY ahead of the curve.
