A roll of metal chicken wire (poultry wire mesh) stapled to the top of the decking can help with the slippery footing. We use it on the deck of foot bridges and piers. Skid tape works too, but it tends to come loose from exterior wood decking. Nice build, well done you!

I would catch my little toe in the mesh. I don't care how taut it would be, I would still catch my toe in it.

maybe you could paint the decking and put some grit into the paint for grip? would also make the timber last longer. Good job and well done.

I like both short (10 minute) videos and longer (15-25 minute) videos. Much over 25 is usually too long for me and I end up clicking away before the end of the video. It has been interesting to watch your journey. Best of luck, persevere! Your drive to carry on is admirable and inspirational!
