Thank you, Brother Melvin. It was really sweet to see you cook today. Men in the kitchen 😁 My dear hubby does NOT do any of that BUT he fixes everything around here (without procrastinating) and I enjoy cooking anyway. There's Grace on me to clean it all up, so there's no complaints. When I make this recipe (similar), I use a bit larger but deeper pan & add more (different) veggies, and it makes 8 large svgs, so I freeze 2 svgs for us (after it's baked) and we enjoy the other 6 svgs over the next 6 days (every other day)...so even tho' there's a good bit of prep work (in the recipe we use), it gives me a nice break from a lot of cooking that week, with a meal in the freezer if I'm too busy on Friday, for a Sabbath meal for the 2 of us. Thank You, Jesus, for all our many blessings of the wonderful herbs/spices & veggies (even TOFU!) we have available. And thank you, SUMtv & Elder Mel for sharing this recipe with the viewers. Amen

Can you use another vegetable in place of spinach? I don't like spinach that much. lol

Use zucchini...slice it thin. I use half that much spinach & add several other veggies.

Go find the Engine 2 Lasagne recipe. It's super delicious. You can leave off mushrooms and it's still perfect. It's similar to this one but has more veggies (garlic, onions, broccoli, corn, sweet potatoes (don't omit those potatoes... they're an awesome addition). Try it once.

You don't use an aluminum pan. Why? Because it's ALUMINUM.

I understand aluminum is inert unless you stir in it. Watch out for it in baking powder and deodorant (ANTI-perspirant).

@@TheStaffOfLife Thank you! I just saw this reply. I don't use products with aluminum. I don't use baking powder nor any deodorants (yes, you can go without deodorants, if following the right diet & lifestyle), I haven't in 30 years of being an SDA and learning these things.

Rumford & some other brands of baking powder do not add aluminum. Also regular deodorant does not have aluminum...just the ones labeled ANTI-perspirant. It's healthy to sweat, right?! But as you said, a clean diet helps keep down smelly toxins. Regular bathing helps, too, lol Thx for sharing!

@@TheStaffOfLife nothing wrong with milk.

Unless you're allergic to the lactose, or don't want the rbst/hormones, which affect YOUR body & mind, possibly negatively. (I'm just "assuming" you're referring to dairy milk.). Some believe the homogenization of dairy milk is the more dangerous aspect to good health. Others understand the impact the fat in dairy milk has on our bodies, negatively (there's more than you think....the percentages designated by the Dairy Council are not accurate). So there's not much to love when you consider the mucous-producing factor, as well. Just sayin'...
