Note taking is the worst. Trying to keep up and figuring out what the mian points are and how to keep sentences short, while keeping myself from overthinking and zoning out. Is very hard.

I like how she is very calm and poised but has really no direction in her speech on a scale longer than one sentence. She sounds absolutely normal and eccentric and interesting at the same time.

I'm a strong writer, talker and also reader but a perfectionist and will waste a tin of time ensuring everything is perfect. From punctuation to spelling, to how neat my writing is. Im a lefty as well. It's just keeping my focus, forgetting everything! . I always heard I wasn't living up to my potential and was so intelligent. I'm still trying to get diagnosed. Just put it all together the last year. It's very hard to know most of the hardships cake fr adhd and had it been caught things could of went so differently. It effects my relationships, work, just everything. It seriously has damaged my mental health and self esteem. I constantly feel like I'm playing catch up in race I can never win.

I started doing the “I’m sorry I forgot what I was going to say but I’m sure it’ll come back” thing and it is SO much better than trying to appear as if I didn’t completely lose track of my train of thought. Own that shit!

When Nancy said "because I LOVE to accomplish things"...I teared up. I have struggled with finishing anything I start, and then becoming angry and depressed because I REALLY want to do it! Does the MIND Institute have a group class? I am nearby to their campus and would like to know what resources are available. I was diagnosed at 25 years old.

I was wondering if there is a longer video about Nancy's story? Would love to watch the rest of it. A lot of what she is saying resonates with my symptoms.

I used to like being paired with this girl who was a little dumb, but had very pretty handwriting. I was willing to do all the work just so she could write the final paper in her very understandable script

Do you sometimes emotionally forget like I do, make relationships up n down?

yeah..................... I seem to have a habit of insulting people without meaning to just because I get abstract without keeping in mind people's emotions.

This video is either mixing context, or she's missing a few screws! She's talking, but there's no substance to anything she's saying. I mean I've got ADHD but I'm still confused, lost and feel like I'm missing something here. Just sounds like a word salad

It is! I'm confused too. I didn't know if it was just me not be able to follow her. But we all have the right to be like that and we can always bring something positive.

I understand she is sharing her personal experiences with ADHD. And how she overcomes them every day.
