@Dsrtpnk28 Bullshit! There are many great Lyricist out there nowadays, just open your senses ;) CunninLynguists, Blackstar, Atmosphere, Looptroop Rockers, Phonte, Kendrick Lamar. Just to name a very view! There's much crap nowadays (and was back in the days as well!) and everybody wants to have a piece of the cake (and many of them are successful, unfortunately), but there's still much potential out there! ps: LL is a legend!

Rap isn't lost. It's like a natural disaster swept through the music world and now only the clueless and poisonous walk the earth, while the wise and mindful are buried under the rubble. You have to dig to find them if you have hope they're still alive. When you find them, you become more confident that the music is still alive. There are many I've found, and they are the ones I pay attention to.
