This man came out in '85 and smashed the game. 5 years later he smashed the game again with Mama Said Knock You Out. 7 years later he smacked all the doubters back to reality with 4321. 20 years after he debuted, songs like Head Sprung were still cracking Billboard Top 20. He was the original Hip Hop sex symbol. The first teenage Hip Hop celebrity. He had unheard of cross over success from whites, blacks, pretty girls, tough guys, adults and kids way before 2pac, Will Smith, Drake...anybody. And no matter who your so called "goat" is now, Jay Z, Busta Rhymes, Naz, Eminem, Redman, whoever...THIS is the guy they all wanted to be. All that being said, you should never doubt what this man can do. Salute to LL.

The reason why the brotha music is legendary is because he is in tune with what's going on in the present time. That's cool, LL cool, J concert will be a good thing, and I hope to come through Cleveland ohio and let a few local rap artists open up the show for him. What constitutes a hit in people's eyes? Is it the song that sells the most? The most streams? The most video views? Or just the best all-around song, production, lyrics, and hook, regardless of how much it sells? For me, it's the latter. I know for the industry it's sales, but not for me.

LL Cool J is a legend but he’s not Jay Z. His new music is not going to be a hit like his old songs, it’s simply not happening. He’ll make all right music but it’s not going to be nothing like his old music. One of the reasons why is his age and the age of his fans. The younger generation will create an obstacle for him. Young people who listen to rap will buy into the newer younger artist. That’s the reason why LL usually performs all his old songs that’s what he’s known for. He’s done this before, new album, new music average results. That’s why if you click on any LL Cool J KZitem video all you see is his old hits. It’s not just LL. You have The big daddy king, black sheep, salt and pepper, etc. Jay Z is probably one of the few older artist that came out with new hits and appealing to the younger fans.

Tip is producing the whole album and LL said it’s not sounding like the new sound but something fresh and true to him. It’s exactly how the kings disease series has been. If they can execute this album how nas and hit did then we should get some quality music. LL is one of the goats of this game. I’m definitely looking forward to his new album. 👍🏻
