Hamilton needs more exposure! Some brilliant set pieces and camera effects here.

Glad you enjoyed this! There's a Hamilton DVD that was Kickstarted a few months ago that contains several of his early 1920s shorts. I'm looking forward to seeing it! www.kickstarter.com/projects/321833650/lloyd-hamilton-silent-comedian

Yes, I'd seen that. Sadly too late for me to contribute. But I'm keeping an eye on the updates. I'll be ready to buy as soon as it's available.

I agree. He's sorely overlooked, mainly because so many of his films are gone, especially the ones from his peak years in the early 1920s.

@@silentfilmmusic Another reason is he died so early, five years before Charley Chase! Chase was practically forgotten too.

I enjoyed this and always enjoy your musical accompaniments. Hope to hear you live at Culpeper sometime. Do you or do others know what the make of the convertible was that Dorothy Seastrom drove in this film? I don't often fall for cars, but the lines on this one were gorgeous. Is it possible we ever made a car like this in this country?

Yet he had Semon's former cameraman Len Smith, who worked with Semon all through his Sea Lions period.
