the modified dirictlet function (the one pictured in the video, also called thomae's function) is actually continuous almost everywhere and riemann integrable. (the one that isn't is the original dirichlet function, which when plotted just looks like a solid black box) edit: aside from the misleading picture, nice video LOL didn't think i'd ever see a jjk edit for analysis

The thing is that we cannot compute the Riemann integral of the Dirichlet, because it is not continuous. However, the set of rational number is a measurable set wrt the Levesque measure and thus we can compute the Lebesque integral
