That would make me want to buy from them. Most car dealers try and sucker you into the contract before you even realize how many payments you agreed to. Being honest about there being a lot at least gives me the impression that they want me to make sure I am happy with the deal and not wasting both of time trying to arrange payments to keep the towtruck away. That probably isn't the case given how I have yet to meet a car salesman that would do that, but it would at least convince me to check them out.

Went there last year despite planning to never enter the doors because of the incessant annoying commercials they run around here as they had an F150 I wanted to look at, was one of the worst dealership experiences I've had in a long time... After clearly stating it wasn't what I wanted while on a test drive the salesman still several times started with "so....if we can make the numbers work out....??" What? They then left me standing in the showroom for an extended period while the salesman talked to someone and then disappeared, to the point where I walked out and was opening my car when the salesman drove up in a truck they wanted me to look at that wasn't anything like what I had said I wanted. Totally clueless, will never stop there again, ESPECIALLY because of the radio ads that run ALL THE TIME!!

As someone who lives in the Zumbrota area, but moved far away many years ago, there is so much nostalgia attached to this commercial for me. There's so much about the actors that screams SE Minnesota, things that the locals won't notice because it's just normal to them, and outsiders won't pinpoint because it just looks like small town America. If I met this couple on the streets of Denver I would be immediately reasonably certain that I knew about where they were from. There is a lot of beauty to that part of the country, and plenty that I miss about it, even if it borders on quaint.

Wow, they took the script, and rather than go "this is too silly, it won't work," they made it EVEN SILLIER. The best part is that Ford doesn't even sell AWD minivans, and the cutaway shot is of a Chrysler. Not to mention the actor's skill. People would call it bad acting, but you don't realize how hard it is to intentionally over-act.

The offer specifically stated that they produce the ad “as is”. Which means it could say “Don’t buy our shitty cars here! We’re not going to give you a fair deal! Blah blah blah” do I think that is what would be in the script? No. But lots of people don’t know that for sure. It could be something terrible for business. Not just normal embarrassing. My sister used to work for one of these ad companies. She would manage about 30-40 accounts across the country and send them the same commercial scripts, newspaper insert layouts, pamphlets, etc. She didn't hide the fact she was sending out the same materials to different dealerships, it was a selling point. "Hey, see how well this exact ad campaign did in this area!" They would only ever change things up when the dealer would specifically request changes. Also, she would tell me the same thing. All Chicago dealers are a*holes, North Carolinians have no idea what they want, and Texas dealers are exactly the same as Florida dealers only 20% less crazy. Lastly, the guy in your ad is wearing an exact replica of my catholic grade school uniform. God, I don't miss that thing.
