Welcome to Fez, the heart of the kingdom of Morocco.
We were not originally planning on having a video here. However, in true Travel Dialogues fashion, we got talking to some locals who offered to show us around their neighborhood. As we wandered through the narrow, winding streets, we stumbled upon homes that seem almost uninhabitable by modern standards - and they probably are. The conditions inside these houses are challenging, offering a stark contrast to the houses tourists stay at in the more touristy part of town.
In this video, you'll get an exclusive look inside a local bakery, experience life in a traditional home in the famous Fes medina, and meet some of the biggest Cristiano Ronaldo fans you'll ever come across.
We hope you enjoy this unique glimpse into the everyday realities and hidden treasures of Fez.
A huge special thanks to Karim and Abdul Rahman for welcoming us and showing us their neighborhood.
